Alice Marie is a multidisciplinary artist, scholar, and trauma-informed advocate who seamlessly blends academic excellence with visceral creative expression. She holds a Master’s Equivalency degree and earned a tenured position within The School District of Philadelphia, during which time she coached undergraduate students at The University of Pennsylvania through its prestigious Music and Social Change residential program. Simultaneously, Alice established herself as a powerhouse fiddler and blues-inspired vocalist within the Celtic music scene. Performing with Delaware County's own Round Tower and the national touring act Barleyjuice, she has shared festival lineups with iconic groups like Gaelic Storm and Black 47, and headlined Fenway Park for the 2015 Notre Dame Shamrock Series.
Alice’s genre-bending versatility spans improvisational violin and soulful vocals, leading to eclectic collaborations with artists like Kuf Knotz and Amelia Presley. Her high energy, frenetic performance style earned critical nods from The Morning Call and a spotlight on her "Artivism" by WXPN contributors at the Firefly Music Festival’s 2019 CHATs series.
Driven by her own lived experience, Alice Marie has transitioned into a powerful voice for trauma-informed advocacy. She champions young, high-achieving creatives navigating burnout, systemic exploitation, and mental health degradation in the postpandemic paradigm. Her advocacy centers on the acute psychological distress, adverse coping mechanisms, and unique pressures facing Millennials and Gen Z within toxic academic, professional, and even domestic environments. Alice backs this vital mission with scientific research, including a 2025 contribution to The Critical Review of Social Sciences Studies.
